Debauched Life of Ex-choir Boy
The sadism and debauchery in the life of former choir boy Peter Wells was revealed to an Old Bailey judge today.
When one of his young victims, terrified by brutal beatings, escaped from his clutches, Wells paid £1000 to a private detective to track him down.
“One of Wells’ aberrations was that he dressed young men up as schoolboys then flagellation and indecency took place. Later detectives found a tape recording of a young man screaming and sounds of beating,” said Mr Nicholas Purnell, prosecuting.
Wells, 26 – described as being of independent means following a large inheritance – of Glosop Road, Sanderstead, Surrey, pleaded guilty to committing two serious sex offences on two 18-year-old youths.
Judge Abdela QC postponed sentence for reports.
